My first project that involved working with actual clients was where each member of the class chose an ISU club to redesign. My choice for the club was ISU Guild of Board-gamers and Role-players, A club prioritizing getting people of similar game interests introduced to one another and to gather for friendly matches. I worked alongside the club's leadership to develop a logo that could be used in both professional and fantasy works.

The logo I worked up for the projects was a connected piece using the projects 3 primary initials: G, B, and R. The fully connected piece was developed initially in full black and expanded into a fantasy red and gold. The logo then got a set of variations to be used in the club as card sleeves, consisting of elemental variations alongside a universal wood burned variation. The logos were also adapted onto a few physical mockup ideas, including a beanie, card deck, and leather patch.

This project contained two additional requirements to its development; A font system and an animation. The custom font system, titled GuildScript, focused on being a combination of geometric and fantasy elements with serpent like flares at the tips of letters. The animation was a simple yet effective piece that displayed the letters of the logo coming together from different angle and squishing to connect with one another. This animation was also uploaded to the program Artivive, where when the logo was viewed in the app via the camera the animation would play.
